Game #158: Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Guardians, Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, 6:40 Pm

It’s crazy we still hold a wildcard spot.
What a freaking collapse.
Harris has some explaining to do .
That trade deadline he did was really bad.

My guess is hitting instructors heads will role.
Because he isn’t firing himself .
He should !
Houston is trying just as hard as us to miss the playoffs

Houston is trying just as hard as us to miss the playoffs
So best case scenario we squeak in at 6 then get to go back to Cleveland to get spanked two more times just to twist the dagger.

No thanks would rather they just miss the playoffs and save the additional agony nobody wants or needs it.

Tigers starting Troy Melton Thursday.
Troy Melton will be getting 35-50 pitches, so the question is who pitches after, Keider or Paddack.

Riley Greene in late and close situations, 2025: .130/.212/.273. 10 hits in 85 plate appearances.
Riley Greene in high leverage plate appearances, 2025: .192/.248/.413. 20 hits in 113 plate appearances.

5-15 last 20 that’s Colorado Rockies level shit right there.

I find 97.1 therapeutic. Agree with the notion that if they do happen to back door into the last wild card spot there should be no clubhouse championship celebration. AJ should just simple say there is no celebration for losing this much in September, go home rest up, the bus to Cleveland leaves x at x
