If they win tomorrow I think they own the tiebreaker with Boston and move up 1 spot in the wild card standings if Cleveland wins the series.

Looked on purpose to me on a 0-1 count to a .221 hitter.Cleveland just won on a walk off hbp; Rangers closer got Ramirez for the second out, then a meltdown: walk, single, intentional bb, hbp.

Come on not buying it. High up on the shoulder. Really :/
Left on left. I do not think that guy hot a batter all season.

Totally Tigers
There is no need to remind Tiger fans how the bottom dropped out the team’s performance starting in July and increased in speed. Until this month, they were in 1st place with a double-digit lead for most of the year.
Thankfully, now the Tigers are tied for the division and will go for the title on Sunday. Even better is their Saturday win which punched their ticket for October.
Yet, we’re all holding our collective breath over the team’s performance, especially in September. They have only won 6 games. Can most of the roster step it up starting on Tuesday? There are still concerns that need to be overcome.
Everyone except Dillon Dingler, Jahmai Jones, Wenceel Perez and Tarik Skubal has regressed in the 2nd half. What could be the possible reasons?
Which factor listed below in the poll do you believe was the largest contributing factor to the team’s overall decline in the 2nd half?
Today’s blog addresses this question and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with others by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!
For this one blog only, you’ve got 6 sentences max to share your thoughts. Of course, you can also respond to other readers.
TT will supply the ammunition. One thought-provoking question. Several options provided. One hard choice to be selected. One vote.

Which factor do you believe was the largest contributing factor to the team's overall decline?
1. Not enough consistent talent to carry them through a long season.
2. They became complacent after leading MLB for most of the year.
3. Too many significant injuries that ended up stressing the rest of the roster.
4. A. J. Hinch's management style.
