Gilbert splits in 2025. Makes zero sense to leadoff a Lefty unless you have rod Carew or ichrio Suzuki, and last I looked we do not have those type of hitters on this roster.

Torres should be leading off. And maybe start one of the righty’s over colt Keith. I know AJ has his reason. But righty’s hit him better then lefty’s .
What, something wrong with swing early swing often after a long top half, get the D back out there as quickly as possible? LOL
I would say that AJ has his stubbornness.
Zero doubt unless they go up by 8 or more before then.
