Tigers pitchers have allowed five total runs over the last five games, with a chance to complete a 6-0 homestand today. On the season, our 3.35 ERA now ranks 4th among AL teams.

Tigers' pitchers have now made six consecutive starts of at least 5.2 innings while allowing no more than one run. It marks the longest stretch for Detroit since April 28 - May 3, 2006.

Kevin McGonigle is currently 13th in the American League in OPS and 8th in Batting Average, 13th in OBP .421
McBarrel has reached base 32X in 18 games to begin his major league career.

Tigers Ben Jacobs just killing low A 11.2 IP 6H 2R 21 SO 6BB.
Easily the best pitcher in the system. Will need to learn to get more economical with his pitches.

Justin Verlander threw a bullpen yesterday. His recovery is "going a little slower than
I think he anticipated or we anticipated," A.J. Hinch said.
Here's the rest of Hinch's comments on Verlander: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HGCVCfibYAElV_T?format=png&name=medium

Before today's game, Tigers pitchers have posted a 1.88 ERA at Comerica Park so far this year, which is the lowest for any MLB team in their home ballpark.

Tigers infielder Zach McKinstry is "not moving around well" today and "we're going to continue to get him looked at," manager A.J. Hinch said.

Tigers out in front 6 - 2 bottom half of the 6th inning.
Dingler with another home run.

1st and 3rd no outs . Perez and baez fail to drive anyone in.
Really poor at bats. Gotta keep that ball fair JB.

So Anderson comes in and immediately walks a batter..
Not sure how I feel about Anderson.

Down by 3 Kansas City sacrifices runners up, and it freaking works because Anderson stinks. 6-4 now.
Now it’s 6-5. Excuse me infield single by Witt Jr.
Maybe Tork should have fielded this ball.

Have we seen enough of Anderson ?

Not getting those runs in by Perez and Baez is really hurting now..

Holton in for Anderson.
Line out to Perez

Holton had him 0 -2.. now 3-2 after a damn wild pitch.
Just ****ing walk Perez him with a base open ?

Holton was not fooling Perez at all.

Nope terrible pitch by holton with a damn lefty on freaking
Deck ! I guess he is batting only .171 ? Why are you
Throwing anything close with a base open ?
Lefty coming up.

Tigers pen implodes and wasted Monteros good start.
Trail 8-6.
