GAME 42 - Detroit Tigers @ New York Mets, May 12, 2026, 7:10 PM

Terrible at bat by Matt . Just awful.

Jones is another stiff that needs to be let go.

Look at Toledo box. Tell me who should be up over Perez, Jones
Rogers, and others.

Jones can’t even play in the damn field,

2nd and 3rd one out and tigers do not score.
HARRIS Do something!

This team is so hard to watch.

SEND PEREZ TO TOLEDO ! Drops another ball in RF.

I’m sick of verling, perez, jones, rogers, McKinstry. This team leaves way too many people on base, because it’s really not a deep lineup at all. Too many stiffs sprinkled in day in and day out. Tork isn’t lighting anything on fire either outside of 5 games, Kieth is nothing but a singles man now. Good lord this is horrendous

If we are going to be a crap team I’d much prefer the younger players.
Harris needs to see if any of these guys can hit mlb pitching.

Perez will get another hit this half inning and the tigers will keep him for 10 more games when he does not deserve it.

Max Anderson is be wasted in Toledo Homer and 4 singles
Even Jung hit a Homer tonight.
My guess is Toledo could beat the keystone cops in Detroit.

Tonight

Tiger hitters organizational wide from top to bottom can’t seem to hit the off speed pitch.

I’m starting to see why Dombroski traded top minor league guys for proven talent. I’m starting to worry about the way Harris has put this team together.

Put up or shut up Harris . Either you are right or wrong on your draft picks.
Call them up or trade them.

Now 1-6 or 1-5 since Skubal injury.
AJ needs to go off on these clowns.

4 guys need to be sent out tonight.
I do not care if a DFA has to be used.
Perez, vanasco , and Jones. Oh and Short.

Start cleaning house..
Send a damn message .
Damn I wish I owned the team.

I think Perez has 1 option left.

Dfa Jones > bring up Clark. (Lefty)
Dfa Short > bring up Anderson (righty)
Option Perez > bring up Malgeri (Righty)
Option vanasco >. Bring up a pitcher .

Probably a good thing im not the GM.
But this team needs a jolt.

Why doesn't Harris get any shit for putting together this horrible roster?
I am With you. It’s all in him, He is afraid to trade prospects.
He waits to long to call them up.
Kevin forced his hand.

Tigers minors
Toledo (20-19)
Won 19-1 tonight 19 hits. I’ve already shown who should be called up.
Breiske has a clean inning. Fife 5 innings and is 4-0 with a 3.41 era
Max Anderson ended up 5-6 . Sadly Clark was 1-6. Batting .268
Anderson is up to .448. In his 48 triple A at bats this year.

Boxscore. Bullpen f'ked it up again, and 0 for 9 with risp.

Mets 10 - Tigers 2: A lousy excuse for a ball game.
A weak Mets lineup took advantage of shaky pitching and putrid defence.
BYBTB

Detroit Tigers play sloppy and get crushed by New York Mets.
The Detroit Tigers experienced some all-too-familiar problems against the New York Mets.
The injury-ravaged Tigers played sloppy, ugly baseball in an 10-2 blowout - their 11th loss in 16 games − on Tuesday, May 12. The Tigers gave the Mets too many walks, didn't play clean defensively, couldn't generate enough offense and ended up with catcher Jake Rogers on the mound again. Yes, it was that bad.
Freep

Tigers vexed by walks, errors in lopsided loss to last-place Mets.
