Game #43: Detroit Tigers @ NY Mets, Wednesday May 13th, 2026, 7:10 Pm

These are the 2022/2023 tigers.

Score 2 runs in the 1st. Pray your pitching can hold them to less than that for the rest of the game.

Good times!

On cue pen gives up a bloop hit and tie game .

Mets try little league play to bail Finnegan out.
Runner thrown out at the plate.
On a double steal attempt.

That is such a dumb play by the Mets with the tigers pen.

The home plate ump must have eaten something that didn’t agree with him.

This team is so disappointing. Hurry up and walk it off for them Jansen so we can all go to bed.

right on left bench bat specialist .180

Would hardly call that anything special. This team absolutely atrocious

Tigers waste another good start because Harris will not dump guys who are not performing.

Boxscore. Team RISP 1 for 9.

Mets 3 - Tigers 2 (F/10): An extra-innings fumble, Tigers’ bad luck continues.
A little something extra… bad.

Tigers squander lead, lose to Mets in 10 innings: 'Our guys are fighting'.
The absence of so many key players is taking a gradual but steady toll on the Tigers. The strain is real.
"Guys are chasing some things, trying to do more than they're used to," said Zach McKinstry after the Tigers suffered a deflating, 3-2, walk-off loss to the New York Mets in the bottom of the 10th inning Wednesday night at Citi Field. "Trying to fill some gaps with some guys missing."

Detroit Tigers waste gem from Framber Valdez in return from suspension.
The Detroit Tigers wasted another one.
Carson Benge singled up the middle, knocking in fellow rookie A.J. Ewing, as the New York Mets beat the Tigers, 3-2, in the 10th inning at Citi Field on Wednesday, May 13.
The Tigers wasted a tremendous pitching performance by left-hander Framber Valdez. They wasted a game where they played clean baseball for the most part. All because they couldn't get the big hit. They went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position.

Tigers lose again to last-place Mets, fall to 7-18 on the road.

SCOTT BORAS WAS RIGHT.
Totally Tigers

SCOTT BORAS WAS RIGHT.
Totally Tigers
I do not accept the "inherited players" excuse anymore. Harris has had plenty of time to make changes, and almost every change he has made (trade or free agent) has turned out terribly.
