This weekend, we’re doing something new. There’s no poll. No deciding which of 2 hard choices you have to make.
We’re asking that you answer one simple question. You can be as brief as you want or use a maximum of 6 sentences to make your point.
Here’s the question:
Given the Tigers’ dismal play so far this year, if you can make only 1 change (just one!), what would you do?
Everything is fair game and not solely roster-related. However, we ask that you keep the change realistic. No “sell the team” or “send down half the roster.”

The Tigers today placed LHP Brant Hurter on the 15-day injured list (retro to May 23) with lumbar spine inflammation. RHP Ricky Vanasco has been recalled from Triple-A Toledo to replace Hurter on the 26-man roster.
Additionally, LHP Drew Sommers has been appointed to serve as the 27th man for today’s doubleheader in Baltimore.

Only three Tigers in the history of the franchise have 53 or more hits in their first 50 major league games at 21-years-old or younger: Kevin McGonigle (53 hits in 2026), Travis Fryman (60 hits in 1990) and Lou Whitaker (53 hits in 1977-78).
 
Tigers are allergic to really big scoring innings.
So glad we have a .152 hitting catcher batting with two runners on.. frustrating. Pops out.
 
Orioles double steal becuase Jansen can't multitask.
