The Tigers have activated Kerry Carpenter from the 10-day IL.
INF Gage Workman has been optioned to Triple-A Toledo.

Justin Verlander will be getting a rehab start for Toledo in Iowa on Tuesday per Evan Petzold.

May of 2026 was the Tigers 749th month of regular season baseball and if they lose today it’ll be T-7th worse in franchise history.
5 of the top 7 have come during Ilitch family ownership as well.

Tigers just lost their 8th straight series.

Jason Benetti: "Welp..something has to change. This is not at all what we expected. The month of May has been awful."

REPORT: It’s trending in the direction that the Tigers will trade Tarik Skubal at the deadline, per Ken Rosenthal.

Dingler has had exactly one game off in the month of May, and his batting average is trending steadily downward. He needs a recovery day; and the Tigers need to replace some of the other players that can't produce.

It’s all good AJ doesn't hate losing.
 
Greene is back to swinging away at pitches out of the zone again. Sigh, just no command of the strike zone

Far too often during this horrendous month the offense shows signs of life early then shuts itself right off.
 
Montero looking good only hit so far should have been ruled an error on McKinstry.
 
Greene seems awful with runners on lately. Off to walk the dog.
Tigers offense is like chalk on a blackboard.
 
Montero 65 pitches through 6 has essentially only given up one hit other one should have been ruled an error
 
Montero should be able to pitch another inning, but the bullpen from hell is asked to hold and save a 1 run lead.
 
Can anyone explain to me why montero’s day is done at 65 pitches and 1 hit?

AJ deserves to be fried for Managerial malpractice. The white Soxs will now start scoring runs.
 
Serious question is AJ intentionally trying to put us in the best position to lose?
