Tigers are going to have their hands full with this astro's pitcher.

AJ Hinch is under intense scrutiny even after Tigers' convincing win over Astros.
It was questionable, but the reaction might be a little exaggerated...

TMLR Week 11: Colt Beef is back. 91 minutes.
The guys are joined by Emily Waldon to talk about John Peck, Cleveland's strange powers over Detroit and the injuries that continue to haunt the Tigers.

Outfielder Brett Callahan is breaking out in Erie.
The left-handed hitting right fielder has a deep toolkit of tools to go with his power production.
BYBTB

The Tigers have hit 30 homers in 12 games since the start of June. That's the most home runs of any 12-game span in the 125-year history of Tigers baseball.

MLB 2026 trade deadline: Front office execs under most pressure. The smartest guy in the room is first on this list of 12 teams.

Glavine fears MLB labor fight could mirror 1994 strike.

As Framber Valdez returns to Houston, the Tigers need him to be better. Good read.
The Athletic

Keith is hurt and out now.. "sore wrist"..

I'm waiting for ashton kutcher to jump out of the bushes somewhere and call this all a joke.. But this is a norm for this team..

Tigers up 1-0 didn’t really see how they scored wife was pestering me about the car

That was way over super aggressive, c’mon Cora wtf!
I'm pretty sure thats the strategy today. i dont think they would have Lee try and steal a base any other game.

But yeah, wasnt even close.

The throw out at home in the first wasn’t even close Cora shouldn’t have sent dingler on that.

come on dingler. You have to block that. Nonchalantly puts his glove down with no body to block the ball on pass ball..
Poor pitch to. .

Tiger pitchers are pitching around Perades it seems all series.

Tigers have 30 homers in 12 games in June like Ron said most in a 12 game span in tiger history and yet it’s only good for a 8-4 mark because of the two close loses at Cleveland. Frustrating. We really need a 9-1 run. Or bigger . Probably to much to ask for with this
Feast or famine line-up.

Tigers 7th
Tork k’s on 3 pitches Batting .208
Perez. 0-2 can of corn to left batting .181
McKinstry is just awful . Now .168 deep fly out to left.

Feast or famine. Man Pitch recognition is poor with this lineup

Montero starts the 7th .

I want to go on the record and say I disagree with.
Montero being used out of the pen.
He helped save this rotation,.

Peña singles (to 2nd), to 3rd.
Alvarez 4-3 (slow)
Walker 5-3
Paredes (0-2) count, 1-2, 2-2, foul, K (96 mph four seam fastball )
Perfect location.

Why in the hell is Keider coming out of the pen????? This shit manager doesnt learn. He picks and chooses when to follow stats. Keider is shit out of the pen and his numbers prove it. Hes a good starter and a terrible releiver.

Why the hell did we have a bullpen day yesterday if this idiot was putting montero back in the pen? This guy is just clueless.

Tigers 8th
Lee Doubles (LF)to third.
Vierling 4-3
McGonigle BB
Dingler F-8 Rbi sac fly. 2-1 tigers .
Jones pops out. (Why is he hitting AJ)

Wasn’t he good in the playoffs ? I agree he should be a starter.
Thats the last thing AJ saw. Idk. They keep messing with KM.

As a starter- 3.90 era 1.205 whip

Reliever- 6.25 era 1.545 whip

Those are career numbers

Astros 8th
Montero still in,

Altuve K’s
Diaz (0-2) count hit.
Smith FC Diaz safe at second. E-5.
Vest in
Ph-Loperfido (2-2), (3-2) BB
Single Tigers losing 3-2.
FC out at second safe at first 4-2 Astros.
Alvarez grounds out.

I just don’t understand hitting any of the plate on a 0-2 pitch.
Yeah that was going way outside but you have 3 pitches to work with.
Get it way off the plate.

Sigh Vest not close on 2-2 or 3-2.
Just the worst pen in baseball,
And the the worst fielding in mlb.
Vest is worthless.

This inning all started on a damn 0-2 base hit .
