Thankfully people that watch games see that defensive metrics are horrible for first basemen. Hes not nearly as bad a defender as those nerd metrics claim. 90% of his job is fielding throws from other players and hes saved a ton of outs on bouncing throws.
His defense is better then the metrics in my opinion.. I agree with you.
I thought for sure Valdez was coming back out for the 8th too :/
the Dumbass doesnt realize he can trade Skubal and still contend at the same time this American League is so bad.
We can’t be sure whether he has got any decent offers yet. Skubal hasn’t been stellar since he came back.
Not to mention the guy literally took himself out of TWO playoff games vs Seattle because he was close to 100 pitches. The next guy in blew both leads and we lost both games. Who knows how that series ends up if he mans up for another inning.
Yeah Skubal has just been ok i guess. I think we get the dodgers to bite maybe .
