Over the past three seasons there have been 13 qualified hitters in Double-A, age 22 or younger, who have produced a wRC+ of 130 or better. There are 12 who have been on a top-100 prospect list. And then there’s Hao-Yu Lee.
Hao-Yu Lee since June 1st: .318, .841 OPS, 4 HRs, 12 RBIs.

Keider Montero has had a 40%+ K% in a game 4 times in his career. 3 of the 4 have been this July and yesterday was the first time he’d done it as a starter.
Keider Montero in his last 7 appearances: 25.1 IP / 1.42 ERA.
Among all American League pitchers with at least 15 starts this year, Keider Montero ranks: 2nd in WHIP (0.96) 3rd in OPS against (.589) 6th in BB rate (5.3%) 9th in ERA (3.14).

Dillon Dingler the past week: .400 avg 1.367 OPS The best catcher in the game.

Since June 29th, the Tigers have now won 5 of their last 6 series (including 2 sweeps).

We have four players with at least 2.8 fWAR this season:
Dillon Dingler (4.6)
Kevin McGonigle (4.1)
Riley Greene (2.8)
Casey Mize (2.8)
Among all MLB teams, only the Dodgers have more (six).

Melton just not sharp yet. Lead off double. Followed by 5-3 . Then a line out to 1st. Then another really good play by tork ! 3-1.

Man Carpenter is really slumping.
Tork K's
Mckinstry singles. Then gets picked off. Sweet Outman has to lead off the next inning.

I always wanna see detroit win, but if they go 1-3 this series I wont be too upset. That will force us to sell or definitely get harris fired if he doesn't

Another great game in mlb .
3 hits for each team. Bottom 5th.
Kc pitch just went over only 40 pitches

Lead off single for kc.
Then a terrible 1-2 count homer.
What a bad pitch. Slider 86 right over the heart of the plate.
Trail 2-1
With our offense that may be all she wrote

Tigers trail 2-0 bottom 6 off a 1-2 count pitch.

New KC pitcher has over 7 era and Kevin hacks at first damn pitch and flys out . Torres goes to far on ball 4. Damn it. l
Lee. Walks.
Greene Has a a homer taken away by Comerica park cf.
I despise our cf the way our team is contructed.

Tigers still no runs against the crappy royals.

Tigers 7th
Dingler (to 3rd)
Carpenter. Singles
Torkelson. k’s swinging on a pitch right down the middle
McKinstry Hacks at 1st pitch pops out to Ss.
Outman. Kaboom 3 run homer !! (364) feet.
McGonigle singles. Out trying to stretch to. Double.

My god this team is so bad with runners on 3rd and zero and 1 out.
Now we have to hope freaking outman gets a hit.<<<<<<<. lol
His average is up to .159

Sigh

Massey single PR (fast guy) SB to 3rd on wild pitch
Collins (Bunt popout 3rd)
Rojas (1-2) count cookie single (3-3) now. (Real bad pitch)
Lofton F-8
Velazquez. 1-2 count, foul. 2-2, K’s on nasty pitch.

Anderson blows . Cant hold runners. Throws a wild pitch.
wtf is Anderson throwing on 1-2. Someone explain it
Its embarrassing. He can’t get lefty’s out yet this inning
Make a 167 hitter chase

3-3 bottom 8th
