Eduardo Valencia set a franchise record with 29 total bases in his first 11 big league games. The previous high of 28 total bases was established by Dale Alexander back in 1929.

Tigers pitching plan for Giants:
Friday -- Keider Montero
Saturday -- Jackson Jobe*-- season debut.
Sunday -- Troy Melton

Now that Scott Harris' traded Skubal, here's what should be next:
Max Clark extension: 8 years, $125M
Riley Greene: 5 year, $105M
$83M coming off the books between Kenley, Skubal, Gleyber, and Flaherty.
No reason they can't get multiple extensions done this offseason.

I watched every ground ball hit since July 1st. Here’s what I noticed:
Torkelson is 7/7 on scooping balls in the dirt.
Keith has fired a perfect throw from 3rd base 96.4% of the time (1 miss on diving play).
McGonigle had the most plays with 57 throws (53 on target) (1 error).

I;m forced to listen to the Seattle announcers due to blackout crap.

They are pretty smittin with TIger's hitters and are absolutely confused with the mize trade, making the tigers sellers at the deadline.

I kinda agree with them. The skubal thing was inevitable. But mize? cmon.

I think they are concerned about his injury history. That is all I have.
Im not sure why they didn’t offer him a deal.

I'm not sure either, but that last minute trade on the deadline tells me he was gonna be gone regardless.

It is always nice having a 2.X ERA pitcher in the rotation though.
