Indiana has slumped to 12-12 in conference, and Nebraska is 11-13; so not good, but not that bad. Sweep both, and we could finish 2nd or 3rd in the conference. I don't think we can catch Iowa.- Michchamp

Game #31 Detroit Tigers @ Houston Astros, Wednesday April 30th, 2025, 2:10 Pm
My one-man curse of the Astros continues... they're like 1-8 or 1-9 now when I go to games, including 0-4 against the Tigers (2 of those losses with Verlander on the mound against very mediocre Detroit teams)- Michchamp

I get the sense it's *slightly* waned since I was there. I remember a couple baseball coaches hating on lacrosse in those days because it drained talent away from the baseball team. It's crazy how random college baseball seems to be, or maybe how much parity there is between programs that in theory should be dominant over others. At least it looks like we're in good shape for the BTT as of now. More conference games against sub 0.500 teams remain than games against good...- Michchamp

Good question. I don't know. I guess contacting recruits outside recruiting times, or otherwise blocking other teams from recruiting them. But if competitors can just throw money around, then it's hard to see what they could actually do. I'm sure as we speak, OSU is trying to find a new...- Michchamp
