The Ultimate 2013-14 Pistons Game Thread

This team is a complete joke from any angle you want to look at it.

The Pistons are the worst franchise in the NBA right now.

We also have the worst GM, perhaps the worst GM in all of professional sports with Joe Dumbass.

My (relatively reasonable) wish list:
1. Pistons tank enough to secure their top 8 pick.
2. Joe D gets fired
3. Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, and/or Greg Monroe get traded.

6:26 to go in the 2nd, 41-31 Hawks, the Pistons continue to play like little b*tches. Joe Dumars not making a move tells us that he's either waiting for the sack or just doesn't know how to tank correctly.

You say that like you're not happy they're losing. You can't ask for a tank and then say shitty things about them when they lose. Well, you can but it sounds retarded.

I don't like tanking, but if it's what Dumars is doing he should at least go all the way with it and have traded a guy like Monroe.

7:48 to go in the 3rd, Pistons make a small run, now 66-62 Hawks, Milsap tweaked his ankle, things may change quick.

Some real nice hustle plays from the Pistons, One from Singler and Drummond, resulting in fast break dunks; Monroe and Drummond look fired up. 93-88 Pistons a few minutes into the 4th.

115-107 final

A solid 2nd half gives the Pistons the good win, one with heart, emotion and contributions from role guys like Singler and Bynum. (Jennings didn't play the 4th for whatever reason.)

I always laugh at fans that think that organizations are going to tank, the players are going to try to win EVERY game regardless of the circumstances with draft position. Certain players are going to try hard because they are playing for a new contract. The draft is a crapshoot and there are no guarantees even if by some miracle that you do actually win the lottery.
