He is throwing that slow stuff just about every time he wants to get a swing and miss. We never shorten our swing to put the ball in play.
We never try to hit it the other way.

Auto out Sweeney sees 1 freaking pitch. Why is he playing ?

That is why he should have been sacrificing McKinstry over to 3rd for his first at bat. At least it would been a productive ab.

Had briefly thought when they first announced Beaz was scratched maybe Sweeney would at least give an ever so slightly better at bat but no sir Beaz would have at least seen three swings and misses per at bat and increased the pitch count by a handful.
