2025-26 Michigan Hockey Schedule & Results

Disappointing play this weekend. They made a great comeback on Friday, but really didn't seem to start playing until the 3rd period, and then the overtime was all Michigan. Dug too deep a hole yesterday. What is going on with this team? Coach needs to get them back on track and playing full games. GO BLUE!

Idk maybe Michigan has hit a wall ? They are pretty young.
That was the top goalies first game back in 5 games since his really bad injury at ND in which he had to be helped off the ice.
Jack came back and looked slow. Looks like Henry is out for the season but they have played without him. They have to stop waiting till the 3rd period to get going.

I didn’t see last night’s game or say it was 1 sided but your goalie tackled our guy while ur defenseman was cross checking him and neither one was called. That was bad.
And all I'm saying is there was a lot of crap going on both ways all weekend. Both teams got away with late hits and penalties that should been called.
I thought msu out played um for 4.5 out of the 6 periods this weekend.. Um coach better figure out the system msu has in place and get back to the playing with a lead.

Friday February 13th.
Penn State gets a bull shit power play late and with 30 Seconds left in the power play Psu ties game 4-4. They freaking tripped our goalie and yet we got the penalty. Michigan out shot Psu 8-2 on ot but both goalies made game saving saves. Michigan’s goalie stopped all three shootout attempts and Michigan scored on its first attempt and didn’t need its last attempt. Um wins the shootout.

Michigan bounced back today to take all three points winning
6-3.

Michigan no show at Wisconsin losing 4-1. I think this young team
Is hitting a wall. Msu has games in hand. Um probably toast for the regular season championship sadly.

Um gets a split in Madison .
Friday lost 4-1.
Saturday win 3-1.

A lot can happen so I’m not panicking or counting my chickens yet. But I do think we have a favorable setup - we still have 8 games against losing teams (4 games against MN, 2 against ND and 2 against OSU) - and we are done with Wisco for the regular season.

I think things are gonna get tight at the top and it could be a 4 team race for the final couple weeks.
It's no longer a 4 team race - down to 3, really 2 because psu needs a lot of help if they're going to get a piece of the B1G title. Unfortunately for them they don't play either of the teams ahead of them (uofm & MSU) the rest of the way.

uofm no longer controls their own destiny - they need to win out and have MSU score 6 pts or less over 4 games. That loss in Madison was big.

If uofm wins out, which they should, MSU needs 7 of the 12 remaining points to guarantee a share of the title, 8 for the outright.

I just want the Michigan goalie playing his best by the time the ncaa starts. Msu went all out and did the double last season but then ran into a hot Cornell team in the ncaa. Not sure if it was hot team or a hot goalie as Cornell trailed 3-2 heading into the 3rd period. I’ve watches some of um recently (not against Wisconsin) but they seemed to go in to long stretches where they do not do much. I’d love to win one of the two championships. But as you said. They do not control it anymore.

Btw
Michigan’s last two games are tonight and Friday at home verses Minnesota. They do have an exhibition schedule next week before the BTT.

Michigan offenses in the same malaise as the last few weeks.
Game is tied 1-1 against Minnesota after two. Shots on goal is
19-11 in favor of um.

Michigan out shots Minnesota 36-15 but after a 1-1 tie after two periods they give up two goals in the first 8 minutes of the 3rd peroid and the 3rd goal was so soft. Jack is not seeing the puck well at all. Um got a goal back with plenty of time trailing 3-2 but Minnesota goalie was way better than Michigan’s goal. Empty netter made it 4-2.
Another frustrating late season loss for Michigan. Happens a lot it seems. Michigan basically hands msu the regular season title with this loss. Hope they bounce back tomorrow.

Michigan bounced back after yesterday’s loss to Minnesota winning Friday by the same score 4-2.

Fridays highlights

Michigan beats Simon Fraser 8-1 in an exhibition game.

Sadly losing these games late in the season gives Michigan state the bye and the regular season title. They had no issue with Minnesota unlike us recently.
