Detroit Tigers shortstop prospect Kevin McGonigle, MLB Pipeline's No. 2 overall prospect, won the 2025 Arizona Fall League MVP award after slashing .362/.500/.710 with five home runs and 19 RBIs in 25 games for the Mesa Solar Sox. His performance led the league in total bases and tied for the lead in extra-base hits, marking the second consecutive year a Tigers prospect earns the honor following Max Clark's 2024 win. Detroit now joins the Chicago Cubs as one of only two franchises with multiple AFL MVPs.
