No surprise, but the notion that maybe ...just maybe he'd return now debunked.

I wish he would have stayed but I understand why he is leaving. At worst he is a late 1 early 2 pick. Given his mom's financial status it would be very hard to turn down all the money.

It's really doubtful he slips past the middle of the first round. The only thing that could cause that is teams not knowing what position to best use him.

Just let him slip to the Pats and have an outstanding career. That's what's best for everyone.
