Sorry I posted it early I am so hyper after watching all the highlights.
So happy to see the bats wake up.

The Detroit Tigers: have won 1 game at Comerica Park in the last 32 days. (Game 4).
Also the Detroit Tigers: are 1 win away from the American League Championship Series.

Troy Melton could be a massive piece for the 2026 Tigers if he stays healthy.
Troy Melton in the ALDS: 7.0 IP 4 H 1 ER 2 BB 7 K. The 24 yr old is pitching meaningful innings in his postseason debut and crushing it.

If the American League wins the World Series this year, a long drought will end.
Last World Series Title:
Blue Jays: 1993
Tigers: 1984
Mariners: Never

A crazy stat from Wednesday’s game 4:
Gabe Speier has given up two home runs off his slider to left-handed batters in 2025.
Riley Greene has hit both of them.(and both homers made it 4-3!)

"This is why you play the game, for Game 5's. "Tarik Skubal addresses the media as he looks ahead to the winner-take-all game on Friday.

Stage is set for Skubal with Tigers' fate on the line in Game 5.

Tigers finally have some offensive mojo as Game 5 looms.
With the offense finally cooking again, the Tigers send Tarik Skubal to the mound for a decisive Game 5 in Seattle.

Tarik Skubal needs to end confounding trend vs Mariners in do-or-die Game 5.
No more of this.

Detroit Tigers vs Seattle Mariners Game 5 score predictions, picks for ALDS finale.
I don't know much about a couple of these freep writers but Carlos monarez is a f'n Debbie downer with his BS talk about the Lions.

FIVE FOR FRIDAY.
Totally Tigers

How many of us approached Wednesday afternoon’s Game #4 of the ALDS with resignation?
I did. I’ll admit that I was already preparing myself for the worst. And it looked to coming true as I watched another game in which the Tigers were listless at the plate.
And then halfway through the game, things changed. I had to check to make sure I still had the Tigers’ game on and not another playoff game.
We’ve seen stunning losses. Now, thankfully, a stunning win.
I’m still trying to process how the Tigers literally flipped their performance like flipping a switch.
But I do have 5 takeaways from that game. And none of them contained in the box score.

Win or go home? Hinch has been there -- a LOT.

MLB Network might've just diagnosed Tarik Skubal's troubles vs Mariners.
Take it and run with it.

Breaking down the matchup that could decide Tigers-Mariners ALDS Game 5.
Buckle up, Tigers fans!

5 things to know before Tigers’ ALDS Game 5 showdown in Seattle.
Mlive

Ball wasn’t close to a strike.
Great another shitty ump.
Greene aggressive early.

2nd and 3rd strike to Torres looked obvious balls. Clear we aren't gonna get the close ones so better be ready to swing

Tigers better be ready for the in slider early in counts. That is what Kirby is doing. Someone needs to sit on a slider. Of hit it the other way.

Might as well not bring a bat to the plate until the 5th inning. Ive never seen an offense show up late every single game like this. Just terrible game plans going in

2nd and 3rd strike to Torres looked obvious balls. Clear we aren't gonna get the close ones so better be ready to swing
The Gameday zone shows strike two just touching the zone, and strike three very close without quite touching it. Porter is normally a pretty decent ump, so let’s just hope that strike is one of very few mistakes.

Just walk Raleigh all game. Hes seeing Tarik too good. Those 2 foul balls probably still haven't landed lol
