GRADING THE 2025 ROSTER – THE BENCH.

We’ve now graded the infield and outfield. Let’s finish up evaluating the positional players by addressing the bench.
For the rest of this week, we’re asking fans to grade each of the major contributors to the team’s performance. Yet to come later this week are starting pitching, relieving and finally, management on each consecutive day.
Of note, players with minor roles, little playing time, lengthy IL stints or those no longer on the roster are not included. Only those with substantial game performance are considered with different thresholds for players and pitchers.
For those wishing to refresh their minds or compare performance between players within the same grouping, here is resource to click on:

Now, let’s grade the bench players. Make sure to consider both offensive and defensive skills as well as the role they filled for the team. Please cast 3 votes for each of the candidates.

GRADING THE 2025 TIGERS – MANAGEMENT.

Now that we’ve graded all the players, it’s time to turn our attention to management.
For Manager A. J. Hinch, evaluate him for what he has done given the talent he was handed. You may also include his coaches as a minor point in your evaluation process. Additionally, a comparison between the 2024 and 2025 seasons will assist in your grading.
As you consider PoBO Scott Harris, keep in mind that other Front Office executives factor into the decision-making process, not just Harris. Of course, evaluate the pitching and positional talent he acquired for this season. You should also consider what he has done in a little less than 3 years as PoBO as well as compare the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Next week, I’ll have a summary report of what fans are saying and final grades for all.
