Get StartedNorthwestern's record is very similar to Michigan's, and it's a tough B1G road game.
Nebraska is sub par, but B1G road game, nevertheless.
How many teams get first round byes, four?
Looks like Michigan should get a not very good team in the first round.
Was there ever any doubt?
LOL
Yes after losing to shitty o$u at home I thought we were really done.
Well, a lot depends on other teams now and, of course, what Michigan does these last 2 games
Do they get a bye? If they play a good team in their first BTT game, then it'd be OK to lose. You just don't want to lose to a bad team there and I would rather not see them finish 0-3. Did I mention that?
It is still mathematically possible for Michigan to finish 4th in conference. I do not think they will, but they can.
Still, if they face a bad team in that first BTT game that they play in, whenever that is, they better win that.
Of course, I'd like them to win their next 10 games or so....
BTW
Maryland is getting crushed at home again by Iowa . Minnesota I can see crushing them but they are getting schooled by iowa . Back to back home losses.
Me too.
Michigan should beat Nebraska on the road - they better not lose that one.
Beating Northwestern on the road would really sweet.
They're not going to get a very good team in their first B1G Tournament round, round 2, because the best teams will have double byes. They'll get a crappy team if they get to #5 or #6 seed; they'll get kind of about a relatively equal, pretty good team if they finish seed 7 - 10.
Right now, in the B1G standings, they look like they're about the #7 seed, but the day and the season isn't over.
i wouldn't expect a good game in the @Nebraska game. Michigan will get hit by the 2nd road game in a row bug. This is real. Some do not want to see it, but it is definitely real. MSU came to Crisler as the 2nd rd game in row and we all know what happened. Then PU came to Crisler on the 2nd rd game in a row. Michigan at Rutgers was another 2nd rd game in a row and Michigan barely survived. Michigan's best chance at a win is @Northwestern.
I'm not even going to address the BTT.
Well, yeah, but Michigan did survive at Piscataway, and was tied on the road with probably a little better team than Northwestern on the road at the end of regulation on the road the game before.
But you're right; the Northwestern game looks tough but winnable; and since it's the only next game on the schedule it's really the only next game I'm thinking about.
Northwestern looks to be having its way with Indiana on the road right now.
