Hopefully, now that hoops and hockey seasons have started it will be easier to forget about this dumpster fire of a football season.
Spartan hoops is 1-0 with a (surprisingly low) 11 point win over Colgate. Looks like 3 pt shooting (28.6%) is still an issue and now FTs seem to be a problem as well with suboptimal performances from the stripe in 2 exhibition games and now the season opener (64.9%). Missing 13 of 37 FTs will cost us games against better teams.
Rebounding was dominant which you might expect would have led to a bigger margin of victory. But a win is a win, something to build on.
