they also miked the band so it helps pick up other noise

They Mic'd the band last year, but it was really confusing sounding. Ended up being an echo in the stadium. Was it the same this year, or with the new scoreboards and sound system did it actually work as intended?

Awesome, thanks. My GF used to be in the band and her sister is currently on the drum line. Needless to say this drove her nuts last year and I didn't hear the end of it.
