Holy smokes - Kovacs was all over the place today. It was impossible, even though I tried, to make fun of him while he was doing all of that. And at the end, I cheered for him.

Also, based on some awesome advice received here even though I was soaked by the rain, I had a wonderful plastic bag to hold my phone and wallet in.

He wasn't horrible in coverage not like when he was a frosh. He allows a catch but doesn't allow one over the top anymore. Thats all you can really ask for.

didn't you agree to let kovacs tea-bag you if he had a good game?

I remember that thread.

um...no. I bet that I would change my name to whatever the artist formally known as Deathroh wanted for a week.

Also - here's an awesome picture of Kovacs:

You gotta hand it to the kid. All he was missing was a pick 6. If he had done that he should have just retired and walked off the field.

I just hope he keeps it up the rest of the year and that today/tonight he didn't just peak.

I think he's been playing that way through spring and fall camp. I think he's going to be a tough consistent player this year.

You can't help but root for the kid. All heart.

Hell of a game today. I hope he can keep it up, because he looks great coming off the edge.

Sweet picture... Did you notice the blitzes that resulted in Kovacs getting to the QB were really nice... Something they could not do very well last year..

I thought that Avery looked like the guy that can't cover. Maybe it is the whole team, but it is definitely a weak spot. Kovacs came though with some big plays, it is time to give him his due. Kovacs and Demons looked good today.

I didn't

Tons of paper towels and sweat towels did the trick.
