Big League rehabber in Lakeland: 3x All-Star Javy Báez is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Lakeland tonight after suffering an ankle injury in late April. Getting Gleyber Torres and Baez back would be a big boost for Detroit.

As mentioned in an earlier post, Kerry Carpenter has been nursing a bruised heal over the last few days which is why A.J. Hinch went out to check on him and ultimately pinch-ran for him in the 10th inning of last night's game.

Last night, Dillon Dingler became the first Tigers catcher to hit 20 home runs and 20 doubles in a season since Mickey Tettleton in 1992.
