Game #104: Toronto Blue Jays @ Detroit Tigers, Thursday July 24th, 2025, 6:40 Pm

I wonder if umpires go back and look at their zones after the game, though I would guess the older umps probably don’t. De Jesus really needs to look at this game. It was pretty bad.

Really bad.

Montero probably has to pitch a no hitter tomorrow the way this offense is hitting

FIVE FOR FRIDAY.
Totally Tigers

Concern over the Detroit Tigers has been growing. The month of July has been a cruel one and the Tigers have now been through several extended losing streaks and are under .500 in July for the first time this year.
A number of players from starting pitchers to relievers to hitters have started to struggle. Some more than others. At least several who are crucial to the Tigers regaining their winning ways.
Which players currently on the roster concern you the most? Since this is Friday, give us your top 5. Extra credit for alphabetizing them to facilitate an easier review and comparison by other readers.
Here are my top 5:

Seems like every pitcher we face just dominates us.
The reason it “seems” that way, is because that is in fact what’s happening. Doesn’t matter who we face everyone is shutting our asses down lately.
