The guy they gave up is in the 5th level and 19 years only. Batting .250 and .343 obp. I do not like the pitcher we got but he is completely blocked in the system. He is really ranked #14 ?
Switch hitting catcher/First basemen.
He is playing in the Florida Complex League. Long ways away.
Feels like Harris didnt get enough if he is ranked #14 .

The Rockies had a 3-0 lead till bottom of the 7th. Starter only on 84 pitches. Bullpen started 7th and lost the lead. could been a fabulous night. Anyways tigers won so it’s a Good night.

No Clase for Cleveland. Smith implodes.

Briceno and Loranzo are the same player, they just drafted an actual catcher.

That said, you would like to see someone else brought in with his trade.

I do agree the position was expendable. I thought that’s what I heard or read somewhere yesterday that he was ranked #14 in our system not sure how those work. Thought that seemed high also.

I also didn’t get the Kridler call up either, decent defender but can’t hit for shit

It sounds to me that the tigers only called up Kriedler until Paddack gets there today. That makes more sense

I see they have him ranked 20th in the MN system today, for what it's worth. He was probably an expendable prospect given they have Dingler and 2 of their top 5 prospects are C/1B. The pitcher they got is trash, but at least they will have someone to eat some innings.

He was expendable, would probably have preferred to see him as part of a bigger deal though.

Clearly Detroit thinks they can redeem Paddock with Fetters etc. Mixed results with Jack this year though, and Maeda was a dumpster fire.

Yea, he would have been a defensive replacement if needed since he can play anywhere but catcher pretty much.
