Bob, I don't know if you are still away. I figured I would post tonight's game thread.
Are you available to post them the weekend?

Thanks Ron ! I agree. Phillies are really tough. I’ll try to help you with the threads but if they keep winning you should keep rolling with it.
I had such spotty service in Munising Michigan. Marquette was fun
We hiked the black rocks watching the kids jump into the cold clear water .
Man Lake Superior is amazing.
And just think Copper harbor in the Keweenaw Peninsula is still another 180 miles west and north munising in the UP.

Kaboom ! 404 feet Torres #12 three run Jack !
3-0 Tigers.
First homer off this guy since July 5th.

I was in the Porcupine Mountains, Gaylord (where I lived 1968-70, and played my 2 years of Little League), and Detroit last summer. Lake Superior was great! I hadn't been in Michigan in 30 years.

We did the picture rocks tour. Then my wife wanted to hike the to the chapel falls. That was to far but we hiked to the chapel tree .
Tree is in a rock ans its roots connect to the main land via its huge roots. Been there 60-80 years. Not sure how much longer that tree has. Pretty dang cool.

Chapel tree.

Jacks at 89 pitches. If this was the 1900 to 1980 he would throw 130 plus !

I did a lot of hiking in the park, and stayed in a hotel right on the shore. Beautiful sunsets. It was part of my big trip last summer; a 5500 mile round trip from New Jersey to Albuquerque and back, with 14 stops along the way. It coincided with the Tiger's rise after the trade deadline.

Fudge muffins.
Jack Had Nick 0-2. Too.

Here we go Holton in.
1-2 count, 2-2count

Like freaking clock work this pen has no strikeout capabilities .
Weak contact flare single to right. . Same old crap.

Freaking Holton blows again BB.
Bases loaded no outs.

Line out to Ibanez on a 0-2 pitch.
F-8 Sac fly. 3-1 now. 2 outs.
Vest
To face righty.
Single to RF. 3-2.
I hate this pen.
Single to RF 3-3

Nice work Harris. This pen blows.
Harper check swing call. 0-2 to 3-2. Count.
Harper kicked out.

Both hits off of Flaherty on hanging sliders. Overall, a great start.

Vest does not appear to be as effective when bringing him in prior to the 9th or with two outs in the 8th

He isn't very effective when he hangs a slider right in the middle of the strike zone against a good hitter. We're lucky it was just one run.
