This team just has no excitement. Unless skubal pitches it seems.
No energy

Excitement is generated by possibilities that are created when guys get on base. We tend to score runs in quick, random home runs from guys that don’t do productive things the rest of the time. When we get someone on base, we have to hope for one of those random home runs, and no batter feels like a legitimate threat at that point.

As for the lineup, I don’t see a lot of answers until they start gaining some experience and incorporating more intelligence (or basic pitch recognition) into their approaches.

I hope Briceno is ready to be promoted next year. Get rid of Rogers and let him be the backup catcher/1B next year. Hell, even Liranzo may be a better option.
