GAME 12 - Detroit Tigers @ Minnesota Twins, April 8, 2026 7:40 PM EST

Perez is back down to only .250 in Toledo. Max Clark is the only mudhen really hitting. They ****ed up tonight. Not max

Parker just cant put it together. Such a Punch and Judy hitter.
When was his last homer ?

Embarrassing to lose these first 3 games in Minnesota.
3 games out of first in last place !

We finally call up a rookie who can hit a little bit(He is getting predictable on 3-0 counts), and all the other hitters start off terrible.
This team just cant hit.

Only 2nd time Valdez has given up 6 run in a inning and it’s when he is a tiger.

Just stop Dirks. The twins are awful. There is no sugar coating this.
This team is playing like they did second half of last season.

Minor League scores
===============.
Toledo Mudhens (4-7) Dipshits lost 4-3 in 13 innings when they had multiplie chances to win this game in extras. Same as the tigers they cannot get runners home from third with less then two outs.
Only silver lining is Max Clark. He is the only Mudhen really doing much. He was 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs. He has 7 doubles this year. He is batting .421. has 5 sb, 5 RBIs on the season. He did hit a sac fly in extras with the bases loaded to tie game at 2-2 and moved the winning run to 3rd. Ass-clowns behind him failed. A few other players have decent averages but I’m not sure they will be called up.
Perez is back down to .250.
Pitchers were decent other then last Two.

Box
========================

22 year old SS Anderson De La Santos is smoking the ball. Go take a look at his line 3 for 3 batting .500 hr .

Box

Won 5-2 over Great Lake Loons.

Box

Tigers 6 - Twins 8: Framber Valdez’s brutal first proved insurmountable.
That first inning was hard to overcome.
BYBTB

Framber Valdez stunned by Minnesota Twins in Detroit Tigers' 8-6 loss.
Freep

Tigers rally late but can’t overcome Twins’ six-run first inning.

THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY.
Totally Tigers

Yesterday, we critiqued the Tigers’ Home Opener Ceremony. Here is the link for reference: GO BIG OR GO HOME

Excluding the outdoor events that fans hosted, the Tigers filled their ceremony with:
  • Individual player and staff introductions.
  • Players signing their names on a tv camera.
  • Military participation incl. a flyover, ceremonial formation, flag presentation, singer.
  • A vocal coach and regular singer at Detroit sporting events to sing the National Anthem.
  • Brandon Inge throwing the ceremonial first pitch to Justin Verlander.
  • In Memoriam segment remembering Tigers who passed this year.
How did you like the Opening Ceremony? Was it exciting? Was it really fun?
Did the Tigers plan enough for the fan experience? Or was the same-old, same-old and predictable? Or were you left hoping for something more fun or exciting to have been added?
Tell us by grading the event.

What grade would you give the Tigers' Opening Day Ceremony?

1. A

2. B

my guess is 99% of the people reading this blog didn't even see it.

AJ pinch hitting Jones for Carp so early in games is so stupid. I think this is the second game in this series that he has done it with Jones getting 2 AB in a game.
Hes doing the same with Colt. Plus sits Tork when hes gotten on base 9 times the previous 3 games. I stand by my thoughts about AJ being an incrediblely overrated manager.
