Jones is only batting .200 over his last 7 days. I just don’t think he should be up with the club any more.

For sure. Probably lucky those first two ball Jack served up I thought were gone in the 1st inning.
His at bat pissed me off, first two way off the plate, so why is he swinging at the next offering that just barely catches the edge, what is he going to do with that? Not a damn thing. Put him the bus to Toledo.
All the more reason to shorten up and string some singles together. I'm not convinced most of our guys are able to do that, though.
We have a perennial problem with stretching the strike zone.

Kevin McGonigle hit 2 homers tonight for Erie. He has 4 since joining them. Clark had a hit. His is at .278. Kevin at .289

Sadly KC and Cleveland will pick up a game on us. So frustrating we can’t beat the Sox.
We are 12-22 in games Rogers plays. He is batting .179.

He probably will be catching Skubal tomorrow.
Hope to hell Skubal will over come Rogers.

Not so good to lefties, though. Especially with the bases loaded, when you can't throw it for a strike, yet still keep tossing it up there......

Hey look at this .
So we all know Malloy was sent down because he was batting .208 at the time early this year he was 20 for 96 with only 4 doubles and 1 homer at the time. He had 19 walks and 31 K’s but 16 RBIs on his 20 hits.
His slugging was terrible but his obp would still be a crazy 6th on this team still at .339 .
JHM should be the tiger lead off hitter verses LHP especially.
