It's always the same with him. Decent until hes not. Every start is the same. 1 moment where he suddenly can't get an out. Incredibly frustrating pitcher.

I have to wonder if everything is flattening out, making is easy to hit, or if he is tipping his pitches in some way. Several of those hits were off of pitches right on the edge of the strike zone.

Flaherty puts the first 8 down in order, then gives up 7 hits in a row. It's maddening how up and down he is every start.

If things keep going the way they have for the next couple weeks, I cant see why detroit wouldn't bring McGonigle uo for Sweeney. We have others that cant play short on the current roster to ease him in and see what he can handle.
