Game #134: Detroit Tigers @ Athletics, Tuesday August 26th, 2025, 10:05 Pm

When the tigers had the first two runners on 1st and 2nd with Torres,Carpenter, and Greene coming up GT has to get that runner to 3rd base any way possible. that was one of the innings we totally choked.

Damn it shorten your swing up with a runner on third and 1 out.
Tork also fails. On 3-2 count and K’s.
We are so bad with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs.
Need a 2 out hit now.
Perez bb
McKinstry singles (3-2) count 6-5 tigers !
Baez K’s. Ball is 2 feet off the plate. How does he not see that ?

Riley swings at 2 balls and k’s. Tork swings at 2 balls and k’s. Wenceel swings at 4 balls and still manages to draw a walk. Zack keeps it together and hits a hard ground ball single, 6-5. Pitching change, up to Javy to add on. Nope, textbook Javy k on 3 balls, the last an unreachable slider.

Why is Greene not throwing to 2nd ? What a Jack ass.

Complete and utter clown show in the field this series the first two games. From McKinstry and Keith’s terrible fielding and throwing.
To not throwing to the right base. ..

Lead down to 9.5. Complete clown show these 2 games.
Losing streak hits 3.

That’s why not.
I expected my relief pitcher to throw strikes. Btw AJ still played his infield in with 5 infielders with bases loaded. He was going after guy at the plate. They weren’t in dp depth. I guess the batter must have been fast. I have sound muted. I get tired of hearing the tigers are in business only for the next 3 hitters to fail.

Not much swing and miss from this pen except by Finnegan

Defense has complete shit this series. That is what happens when you have guys play multiple positions i guess. How many balls have been in the dirt or off the bag at first base for Tork? One of those throws is going to get his arm killed.

Who gives a shit if you hit a long homer in a loss ?
The team failed to move a runners over tonight.
Tigers again 2-12 RISP. Only Green and McKinstry got hits.
Baez swings at complete shit again.
Total lack of concentration in extras on which base to throw
ball to. Greene had zero shot at getting the runner at home.
Colt was not good at third base at all. McKinstry made his 12,error.
Another bad throw.
Morton sucked tonight. Tiger pitchers give up the homers.

If Hamm is one of the tigers best young pitchers we could be in trouble. Hit hard again tonight.

Athletics 7 - Tigers 6 (F10): Riley Greene and Zach McKinstry have big hero moments in walk-off loss.
It took us into a whole new day, but the Tigers couldn’t manage to claim victory.

Greene's grand slam not enough in sloppy Tigers' walk-off loss to A's.

Disgraceful losing to a shitbum team like the a's.
I think the patchwork SP and Bullpen are going to burn out by the end of next month and the playoffs will be an early exit. Hope I'm wrong, just not enough depth.
