Why walk Loftin on four pitches? I never understand completely losing the strike zone against the weakest link in the lineup. Luckily fixed by a double play.

Focus lack, taking for granted you don’t have to work as hard vs the weakest hitter, looking ahead etc..

Is Gameday malfunctioning? I only saw 5 pitches to Tork, and three of them were balls. Never mind, they corrected it, sort of. The fourth pitch is showing as a called strike now, though it is showing up as a foot above the strike zone.

Mets just lost to the Marlins. They only used their long reliever, after using 5 relievers on Saturday. Astros lost, Guardians lost, Blue Jays lost. This would be a good day for a clean 9th inning.

Yeah, my mistake. I had checked yesterday's scoreboard to make sure how many relievers the Mets had used, and checked on the Blue Jays without setting it back to today.
