they will easily win 90, but I don't see them making a deep playoff run. Harris' trade deadline additions (outside of Finnigan) have been a flop. Adding too many mediocre players may have actually made them worse. This "pitching chaos" of relievers between AAA and the big league team has been a disaster so far. This sucks. Too many trick or treat pitchers in the rotation after Skubal. I wonder if they will win 90 games with the starting pitching and the bullpen, after Melton, Finnegan, and Vest.![]()

Being in possession of a lot of mediocre pieces doesn't necessarily add up to a few of them rising to the top, or managing to cover for each other, unfortunately. The process also undermines the team settling into its final form for the postseason. Combine the potential return of Meadows and/or Vierling, with the potential "spring training" problems repeated, and I can see the postseason tanking very quickly.they will easily win 90, but I don't see them making a deep playoff run. I'm not sure about them "easily" winning 90, but they probably will. If they slump a bit, and finish out the season with a 9-14 record, they will only finish with 89 wins. The thing is, for KC to knock us out of first place, they would have to go 20-5 to finish the season, and the chances of those two things both happening is incredibly small. The best preparation would be to get all of our pieces sorted out by the end of the season, have everyone rested and ready to go, and hope that we still snag one of the top two records to get a bye to help with those things. After that, hope for luck.they will easily win 90, but I don't see them making a deep playoff run. Harris' trade deadline additions (outside of Finnigan) have been a flop.
