GAME 14 - Detroit Tigers vs. Miami Marlins, April 10, 2026 6:40 PM EST

pitching carries Tigers. Thats how they are built. Against good teams not sure that will stand up. But a win is a win.

SATURDAY SURVEY.
Totally Tigers

It is still very early in the year to make predictions but so far, we haven’t seen many encouraging signs in how the Tigers have been playing so far.
The team is 4-9 and last (4 games out) in the AL Central (through Thursday’s games). After winning their 1st 2 contests, they then lost 4 straight, won 2 and finally lost 5 straight. Tarik Skubal has lost 2 games and won a single contest so far.
In those first 13 games, they have been shut out twice and scored 1-3 runs in 4 of their games.
Only 3 positional players are doing well – Dillon Dingler, Colt Keith and Kevin McGonigle. No starting pitcher has been throwing to his ability and Kyle Finnegan, Tyler Holton and Connor Seabold are the only relievers doing well.
In 2023 and 2024, the team got off to poor starts. Last year, they took off early in the year. Only 2023 was the worst start in comparison to this year.
How are you currently feeling about how this team is performing?

How are you currently feeling about the Tigers' performance so far?

1. Panicked.

2. Getting worried.

3. Too early to be worried.
