The West Michigan Whitecaps, the High-A affiliate of the Tigers, are heading into their last weekend with an INSANE record of 90-38. They have a chance to become the first MiLB club with a .700 winning percentage in nearly 30 years.
Paul Sewald worked a scoreless inning in his rehab appearance for the Whitecaps tonight. One walk, one strikeout, no hits allowed. It’s his first appearance since July 11th, and according to
Dan Hasty, his fastball topped out at 91 MPH.
Jake Miller, in his 2nd rehab appearance since hitting the IL in late April, takes a 105 MPH line drive off his back. He left the game afterward.
