Also very true, someone says to me the other day they think the tigers will be better off the #2 vs #1 spot I told them they will be the #3 and lose in the first round. They said no way that won’t happen, oh yes it will you don’t watch them every day like I do they have been terrible for two months now.It still surprises me that everyone is analyzing the pitching problems, while ignoring the problems with the offense. We simply don't have good approaches when we need them, expand the strike zone almost routinely, and don't seem to have the ability to do things like moving the runner over, or getting sac flies when all we need is a run. All these problems compound once we get runners in scoring position, and we were 0-7 in that statistic today.
This is true but Friday we lost 7-5 to the Sox.It still surprises me that everyone is analyzing the pitching problems, while ignoring the problems with the offense. Totally Tigers
The year-long wait for Alex Cobb to return from the IL is over. We will never see him wear the Olde English D.
And so many fans are furious at the Tigers – Scott Harris in particular – for signing him.
In our last 2 series we went 2-4. In those 4 losses we scored 8, 5, 5 and 4. With league average pitching we're cruising on a 6 game winning streak. It still surprises me that everyone is analyzing the pitching problems, while ignoring the problems with the offense. We simply don't have good approaches when we need them, expand the strike zone almost routinely, and don't seem to have the ability to do things like moving the runner over, or getting sac flies when all we need is a run.
