Game #152: Cleveland Guardians @ Detroit Tigers, Wednesday September 17th, 6:40 Pm

this season, this team is either a delight to watch, or fn torture... lately its been a whole lot of torture.

dude has thrown 50 pitches in 2 innings and det has 0 runs? thats really hard to do.

We finally hit the ball good and Can’t catch a break.

If it’s spinning and it doesn’t start up lay off it! You’re right too many bats just can’t seem to pick up spin it’s baffling

Again we Can’t get that bottom rail called a strike when it hits the box.

This ump is terrible. He is missing that low strike.
And missing it badly.
Jack has one bad thing happen and he falls apart.
I will kind of be happy when he isn’t around any more.
He is so up and down.

Too predictable. Flaherty loses the plate for a bit, then is afraid to challenge someone like Kwan, then folds against a weak hitter.

Have a look at his scorecard from earlier this season......https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/1l9ot3p/umpscorecards_tom_hanahan_det_vs_bal/

Cleveland pitcher is getting anything that hits the box now.
Jack is not.

Again we Can’t lay off the slow breaking pitch when we have 2
Strikes.

Not really. The first pitch to Kerry was probably a strike, too. Tigers swing at most of the close pitches. I only saw one low strike to Tigers, and it was called a strike. He is calling all of Flaherty's low strikes balls, though. look at the chart I posted above. This ump wasn't calling low strikes in that game, either.

Jack gives up 1 run and he falls ****ing apart
Dial it back in.

That ball should have been caught. A good third basemen gets that in my opinion. Did he lose it in the lights ?

Jack needs to be careful with that spinner to lefty’s
