Tigers Magic Number: AL Central lead isn't as comfortable with Guardians in town
Is anyone else sweating?
MCBTB

Will Vest by Inning Pitched:
7th: 4.0 IP, 6.75 ERA, 1.75 WHIP, 1 BB, 2 K
8th: 17.0 IP, 4.76 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, 10 BB, 21 K
9th: 38.0 IP, 1.18 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, 6 BB, 40 K

Record in one run games.

Kevin McGonigle wrapped up his 2025 MiLB Season with a .991 OPS and more walks than strikeouts. He is the best pure hitting prospect in baseball and flashed above average power metrics this season. He is my #1 MLB Prospect and should be a mainstay in the Tigers lineup in 2026.

Max Clark took massive strides in both the hit tool and plate discipline department this year to round out an excellent 2nd pro season. He walked more than he struck out while exhibiting plus speed and dynamic defense in CF. He is one of the most complete prospects in baseball!

Tigers share highest mark as Baseball America hands out 2025 farm grades.
Detnews

Jack Flaherty uses his slider 23.2% of the time in 2025. He's used the slider more than 23.2% in 15 starts so far in '25, and his ERA in those 15 starts is 3.04.
Flaherty also has 11 starts in '25 where he's thrown more sliders than curves; his ERA in those 11 starts is 2.63.

Because we have at home. 2 more with Cleveland then 3 with Atlanta who is playing well. Then we have 3 at Cleveland and 3 at Boston.

Cleveland after Detroit has 4 at terrible Minnesota and 3 with us and 3 with the rangers at home.

I wish we had a guy like Ramirez . He is so good.

My god that is a strike against us ump.
But he was rung up in a pitch a tad off the plate .
Make up call maybe.

Now Torres is chasing ? That is the first time I have seen him do that all season.

Torkelson k’s on the same pitch Torres k’s on damnit.
He is going to throw that slider to righty’s. We gotta
lay off that pitch

Greene. Sigh 12 pitch K .

Only the tiger hitters could see 30 pitches in a inning and not score.
My Bad 29 .

And Riley swings at a curve way off the plate. I wonder how much of their approach is dedicated to trying to see the spin. Some players obviously do better at that than others, but the core of our lineup just can’t seem to see it.

So again Jack does not get the low strike like the Cleveland pitcher.

Three right handed batters three k’s on that damn slider.
