Detroit's offense fell flat in another crucial matchup against Cleveland.

Hinch's after game interview was honest. His assessments were the same as most of we fans that watched last nights game. Tiger's walked 7-8 batters. 3 of the four runs scored by Cleveland came off walks. Tiger batters had more than a few 3-2 strike outs on balls out of the zone as they chased. At this late stage it may be too late to correct those type of flaws. They did have some very hard hit balls that the Guardians turned in to outs. Skubal coming up, but that is not an automatic win. They need to do better. They need to win at least 5 or 6 of their remaining 10 games which would make Cleveland have to win 10 of their last 11 games.
