So much for the Tigers getting out to their first lead in about a month.

I see a jumpy offense that isn't seeing the ball at all.All I see is an offense that refuses to take their walks
And one of Montero's pitches was way off of the plate and was called a strike as well. Not that it mattered, as his other four pitches to that batter were all even farther out of the strike zone.He Had Baldwin 0-2 and on 2-2 pitch he crushed it. 2 more homers for the damn Braves. Montero just cant throw his fastball for strikes good enough sadly. Although one of his pitches did not the box an was not called a strike.. Dickerson said it was outside but it did hit the box.
Tigers trail 3-1.
They pitched around Tork, to the usual result.Tigers 5th
Baez Auto-out F-7
Jones singles.
Torres singles.
Perez. K’s. (One awful at bat)
Torks BB
Greene
That is not a strike to jones.
Perez should not be batting 3rd. He is awful last 30 games.
I’d pitch around Tork to get to Greene.
Greene doesn't really have an approach after the big swing (flail) with the huge arc that only connects a small percentage of the time. Sure, if he makes good contact, it will get good results much of the time, but that good contact is just not there the rest of the time.Riley is the least clutch hitter on this team. Good lord
And that is the difference between him and guys like the two Cleveland guys who crush us.Greene doesn't really have an approach after the big swing (flail) with the huge arc that only connects a small percentage of the time. Sure, if he makes good contact, it will get good results much of the time, but that good contact is just not there the rest of the time.
