Game #155: Atlanta Braves @ Detroit Tigers, Saturday September 20th, 1:10 Pm

If only i was a masochist. I would absolutely love this team.

I'm ****ing out.. F Scott Harris.

The largest blown division lead in MLB history was choked away by the Red Sux in 1978. They led by 14 games in July. The Tigers led the AL Central by 14 games in July. Please tell me they are going to wake up from this.
Back then, there wasn’t the wild card, nor even the expanded wild card, nor even the expanded expended wild card.

It seems to me, our Tigers are not going to be in the postseason at all.

Now that there… that there is one classic collapse.

I've never disliked a tiger baseball team like I do this team and I've been saying that all season.

So the baseball gods finally decide to punish AJ for his cheating...but in a Tigers uniform.
So uniquely Detroit/Michigan sports...what a clusterphuk.

That 1-2 count pitch to tie the game the Braves batter was trying to hit to RF. Why isnt vest throwing a complete waste pitch ? It was only 1-2 inches off the plate at 97 mph to a .278 hitter RISP. Such a poor pitch in that count. Embarrassing really.

Vest cant close anymore . He has lost it.

Braves 6 - Tigers 5: Bullpen meltdown brings doom.
The Tigers battled back in stirring fashion only for the bullpen to blow a late lead.

What Did Dipshit AJ say in post game ? Finnegan should be closer over vest. He should have left Melton in maybe .

Yeah the only start he had this series and he got pulled for Sweeney in that game lol
He got pulled for Sweeney when we were already behind 10-1, so that McKinstry could pitch. After going 0-3. It really didn't matter.

He was the DH Friday night . He better not sit tomorrow.

That's not the point. The point was the other 2 games he didn't play because our idiot manager would rather have guys like andy Ibanez in.

AJ is pretty stuck on the lefty/righty matchup thing to the point of no return. That's why we saw Jung up in the 9th today. Not that we had any other decent choices at that point; or that we could expect anything from Javy. By the way, Carpenter is hitting .200 in his last 7 games, and .202 in his last 30.

Cleveland is up 6-0 in the top of the sixth in the middle of the 5th.

And Carpenter is really bad this year RISP. But then the whole team has collapse the second half.

Minor League update Saturday 9/20/25.
Sadly Jung still cant hit a fastball so far just like in April.
Question > Do we need better Hitting coaches ?

Toledo Mudhens (83-66) (44-30) 2nd half. (No playoffs for Toledo)
Won 4-2 tonight
Oh ****ing look. c-1b Valencia hit his 13 Mudhens HR tonight and is batting .315 but we still get Jake Rogers.
Malloy lead off and was 2 for 3 with 2 runs and a walk. He is batting .320 but we still get Ibanez crappy at bats . Sorry I yelled at Jones he was good today after his 1st at bat.
Watson started went 5.2 innings for the win.
