I have to head in at noon so I will not be able to post the lineups.,
Sorry.

1. Someone needs to find a sinking ship GIF because we are headed to the bottom sadly.
2. Last nights debacle was the worst game in the losing
Streak.
3. Skubals meltdown to the 19 Tiger strikeouts to that crappy umpire which AJ never challenged. Last night’s 7 umpire was the worst all season.

Good vent. And the answer is NO, NO they will not respond

5-14 in September WOW!

These guys are playing out the string and have already packed it in. Far too many platoon players, 4AAAA players, and players who do not belong on a major league roster. The injuries messed up the starting pitching, and continually signing old worn out pitchers to start, and our relievers, those who were injured were replaced by the same ilk, were also part of the demise. Who knows, the players on the team watching who Harris brought in at the trade deadline and to replace the injured, might have been a factor in how these players have stopped performing. (injuries, pathetic signings and no veteran presence who can still contribute, are reasons for this terrible post all-star break record.
Something else to add to my vent, with every Tigers fan calling for Ilitch, Harris' or Hinch's heads on a stick, let's see what they do. If he signs the same shitburgers for 2026, and they don't trade off or release the likes of Baez, Sweeney, and others, it will make me think that it is the same shit, different year.
If they start off hot next year, fans around the league will say, it's just a matter of time before they choke again.

Too late now but couple bats actually started to show a little frustration on ball strike calls in the 9th so I think I want to watch the train wreck tonight just too see if anyone on this team actually has any fire in the belly. It’s really times like this, again too late now should have occurred days to weeks ago that you really need a jimmy smokes explicative tirade toss just to try and fire up some focus. I put it all on AJ for not being able to get these guys locked in at the plate and don’t think he’s done everything he could do in that effort. They have been unable to stay in the zone with runners in scoring position for many weeks now overall, it’s not just this recent bad stretch.

Aug. 25: Detroit holds a 12.5-game lead over Cleveland
Sept. 23: The Guardians beat the Tigers to tie them atop the AL Central — and now own the tiebreaker, too.
One of the great surges and collapses we’ve ever seen, all over the course of less than a month.

Your Tigers, ladies and gentlemen.
0.2% chance to make the postseason in 2024 — they did.
0.1% chance to lose the division in 2025 — they did.

Cleveland is 31-18 since 8/1 despite their offense having a .652 OPS.
Since 8/1 in high leverage situations.
Detroit: 158 PA, .197/.266/.292, 54 wRC+
Cleveland: 165 PA, .353/.428/.551, 165 wRC+
Some don’t care about leverage splits, but that's a significant difference. It’s the difference between 29th and 1st in that time.

Tigers will need to find 40-man roster room -- and at sometime in 2026 a probable place in Detroit -- for hot-hitter Eduardo Valencia, whose 2025 season was something of a marvel. The question remains: Where will he play?

Trey Sweeney is 16 for his last...100.

Tigers nearing never-before-seen collapse could have drastic offseason implications.
This might only be the beginning of the nightmare.

Erie trails 2-0 top 3rd. They have no hits and have K'd 5 times already. Erie is the home team in this Final game for the championship. I think the pitcher for Binghamton is the ace of thier staff. His stats look fabulous.

Not overly disappointed with the at bats in the first two problem is as soon as they get behind they’ll all revert back to the hacking

This is my least favorite tiger team of all time. Ive watched far less games of this team than I did the 2003 team that lost 119 games.
