Won’t be seeing this one, don’t have the Apple TV and refuse to sign up even with a trial just to watch one game.

Also now envisioning both the tigers and the Red Soxs having locker room celebrations on the same night even though one team will have lost on that day. LOL that would be weird and stupid.

I know I won’t be watching any tigers locker room goggle show if they make it after a loss coupled with all the second half losing wouldn’t make watching such something I find too much joy in. If they somehow manage to still win the DIV yet that would change my mindset a little bit. Maybe. Who’s with me!

I'm at a place in my life, I don't give a shit if they make it or don't. I'm fed up with all of it. Sure I will root for the Tigers and Lions, but these pampered asses who don't give a flying fcuk if they strike out over 200 hundred times in a season, or say "that's baseball" swinging at shit in the opposite batters box, or chasing worm killer pitches in the dirt and leave the bases loaded, or can't hit behind the runner(s). Same with the pitchers who get hammered with their 4 seam or another pitch, yet still throw it up there as a meatball for an opposing team's batters to destroy.
I still think Ilitch Jr. is a smarmy little ass wearing 10 thousand dollar sharkskin suits who won't spend on a couple of veteran hitters and pitchers and instead tells Harris the smartest turd in the room to get who he wants, which was maybe 2 dozen garbage retreads who are either DFA'ed or in the minors. Where is the accountability of this demise from 59 and 34 and first round bye, to barely hanging on for the playoffs?
The three Detroit media online sports are a bunch of suck asses and won't speak the truth for fear of getting banished from the clubhouse.
I have loved this team since I was 6 years old, over 70 f'n years, and the ghost of Tigers greats must be shaking their heads at this group of players in the second half.

Explaining the clinch scenarios for every AL contender.
Tigers official site

Tigers are now 30-12 this season when scoring in the 1st inning. 19-6 when scoring 2+ runs in the 1st.

Since 2022, the Tigers have paid Javier Baez, Eduardo Rodriguez, Kenta Maeda and Alex Cobb a combined $159.98M for a total 5.3 Wins Above Replacement.

Latest Podcast from TMLR. 88 minutes.

2026 C D Dingler ~$1.0M 1B S Torkelson ~$3.5M 2B C Keith $4.3M 3B FREE AGENT
SS K McGonigle ~$800K LF R Greene ~$3.5M CF P Meadows ~$1.2M RF FREE AGENT DH K Carpenter ~$2M BN JH Malloy ~$900K BN Z McKinstry ~$3.0M BN J Jones ~$900K BN J Rogers ~$3.0M SP1 T Skubal ~$18.0M SP2 R Olson ~$1.2M SP3 J Flaherty $20.0M SP4 C Mize ~$5.0M SP5 FREE AGENT
LR T Melton ~$1.0M (should be a starter) RP FREE AGENT
RP T Holton ~$2.0M RP B Hurter ~$1.5M RP P Sewald $7.0M SU J Foley ~$3.2M
SU K Finnegan ~$7.0M CL W Vest ~$3.0M~$93.0M for 22 of 26 players.
Keep in mind, Chris Ilitch is roughly the 10th richest owner in the league. If we wanted the Tigers to get to the 10th highest payroll in 2026,we could have roughly $70.0M AAV to spend to fill the 4 open spots. If we wanted to be a top 5 spender in the sport, like we were with Mr. I, that number is closer to $100.0M.

Tigers Triple-A roster shows how easily they could have solved bullpen malfeasance.
'Pitching chaos' has its downsides.

I couldnt have been the only one who saw andy's hard hit ball, and just know. thats caught.

So Greene K'd with bases loaded 1 out top of the first.

Another shitty tiger hitter who can't put the ball in play with less then 1 out..

These hitting coaches and
Tiger mlb scouts need to be fired.

The Tigers are not far enough ahead of anyone to make it like they clinch after a game they lose.

Who's gonna be the hero and get the biggest hit of the year here? Im betting on Torres

Tigers lose in the 9th 4-3

Offense just isn’t scoring enough runs had Boston on the ropes in the 4th could have been a huge inning only got 3 and that was it for the night.
