Torres BB (out at 2nd)
McGonigle 1-6
Jones Doubles
Dingler K’s

Boston wins challenge. Seems like Chapman throws to fast JB you
Dumb ass. Torres walks right after. Tigers would be ahead of Baez didn't try to steal. Tigers see to be getting thrown out a lot on the base paths.

I think he had the ball in when Kevin hit 3rd base. I think he would been a dead duck. Not sure. Seems like he was on 3rd when the ball was coming in. Idk. Maybe they make a bad throw. Our luck on the base paths have not been good.

Lee air mails a throw over Tork’s head. Yikes.
5-3. Lee makes that play.

Tigers 10th
Boston RHP in
Ghost runner Dingler (to 3rd)
PH- Greene F-9 (deep)
Perez K’s. Badly. wtf is be doing
Tork 6-3.

So frustrating these swings. Tigers fail again with less than 2 outs and a runner on Third . Same as last season. Why isnt Keith pinch hitting for a .056 hitter. Perez. He wasn’t close to getting a sac fly.

Perez has had only 1 good at bat since being called up . That was an awful at bat with a runner on third and less then 1 out…Im getting close to saying Perez needs ro be sent back to Toledo again.

Detroit Tigers call up prospect Hao-Yu Lee, place Zach McKinstry on IL.

Who is Hao-Yu Lee? Tigers prospect has speed, defensive versatility.

With Zach McKinstry sidelined, Tigers sign Luke Ritter to minor-league deal.
With Zach McKinstry being placed on the 10-day injured list (hip and abdomen inflammation) and Hao-Yu Lee being called up from Triple-A Toledo, the Tigers moved to shore up the organization’s utility depth.

According to MLB transactions, they signed 29-year Luke Ritter, who had spent the last three seasons at Triple-A Syracuse in the Mets' system.
Who is Luke Ritter?
Ritter hit 52 home runs in four Triple-A seasons (26 in 2024) and posted a .420 slugging percentage. He also carried a 30% strikeout rate.
He has played third, second and first base, as well as corner outfield.
He was released by the Angels this spring.

Lost to the crappy Red Sox. **** this offense against lhp.

They get thrown out on the base paths again. Cant bring a runner home from third and less then 1 out.

we would all like for Verlander ro be able to pitch but Montero deserves the spot too. He needs to used. He has pitched decent in his spot starts for Detroit.

Max Clark was 4 for 5 tonight with a homer his 1 st, 2 RBIs, 1 run ans 3 more Singles. Batting .373. But we get guys like Perez . Hell AJ would have sat him anyways against a lefty.

Nobody was hitting. You have a better chance of a bad throw than a hit.

Tigers Minors.
Toledo Mudhens.(9-10)
6-2 winners at Louisville. Max clark hit his first Toledo homer in the 6th to make the score 4-1 Mudhens he was 4 for 5 and is now batting

SATURDAY SURVEY.
Totally Tigers

After a test run in the minor leagues, MLB has introduced the Automated Balls and Strikes (ABS) System in the majors this year.
It is still a work in progress as teams go through a discovery process, but in the minors, ABS had a 90% accuracy rate.
Teams start with 2 challenges. If you win, you get another. If you lose 2 challenges, there are no more opportunities.
Technically, ABS has the ability to lengthen games a little if there are a lot of challenges. It also has the ability to interrupt the flow of a game. But as we’re seeing, it puts more pressure on catchers and highlights the inconsistencies among certain umpires.
What is also expected is the decline of discussions and arguments between managers and umpires, potentially taking away some of the character of the game.
What are your initial impressions of the new ABS system?

What is your first impression of the new ABS system?

1. Love it!

2. Starting to see the potential.

3. Not a fan.
