Totally Tigers
The Detroit Tigers have started the year on not the expected note. There are struggles in their pitching, relief and offense. Despite rising in their division, they have only just reached the .500 mark.
The majority of their regular players are performing below expectations and they are currently ranked in the middle of MLB in all pitching and offensive categories.
The players who are performing well are tending towards the younger ones – Dillon Dingler, Kevin McGonigle and Colt Keith. Riley Greene has just started to come around. Otherwise, the only veteran with solid stats is Javy Baez.
The Tigers are expected to promote several minor league prospects at some point this year. There are several catchers, 6 infielders and 6 outfielders. Several of them had outstanding spring trainings.
There are also a number of pitchers with MLB experience.

In the past, the Tigers have suffered from slow starts in 2023 and 2024. It was attributed to them barely making the playoffs back in 2024.
Given their goal of going further into the playoffs, should they start making some changes to their roster? If so, when should they do it?
Or should they stick with their current roster and hope that players adjust?
Today’s blog addresses this question and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with others by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!
For this one blog only, you’ve got 6 sentences max to share your thoughts. Of course, you can also respond to other readers.
