GAME 30 - Detroit Tigers @ Atlanta Braves, April 28, 2026, 7:15 PM

11 game hitting streak for Kevin .
Plus I think that’s 25 games in row on base.

Matt still batting below .200 (.193)
Perez has his average now up (.095) after reds series lol.

Why are the Tigers pitchers so stupid ?

Yeah Holton throws it low.

But on 0-2. Why even near the plate ?
Makes no difference Holton like vest stinks.

Next guy crushes a pitch
5-0.

Braves will soon have a 9 game winning streak against Detroit.

Shoot
Tork’s homer streak ends at 5 games in a row.

I wanted him to have the record all by himself.

Well done Spencer ! Five in a row is fabulous!

Perez hits a 2 run homer score is now 5-2.

His batting average is up to.113. Hopefully this will get his bat going because with Baez out Perez is not going anywhere. Which means more meaningful at bats for Perez.

Tigers minor league Score

Toledo (14-14). Five game winning streak is over because after taking a 6-4 lead with a 4 spot in the 7th the pen which had been decent recently reverted to Detroit Tiger like and sadly gave up. 4 spot themselves in the 7th losing 8-6.
Sadly the loss was on Max Clark as he cost at least 1-2 or 3 runs on his lazy can of corn drop of a high fly ball using only 1 hand
His first error of the season so that is good.
Gage Workman was 2 for 3 with his 4 homer. He played Ss tonight
Clark was 1-4 batting .303 .. error was big.

If you go to summary you can see the highlights.
Clark over runs the ball.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY.
Totally Tigers

Hao-Yu Lee was called up last week to replace an injured Zach McKinstry. In just 7 games, he’s got the 2nd best SLG and OPS out of the 6 bench players.
Lee is the RHH with power that the Tigers need with a track record of having a great eye at the plate (fewer strikeouts) and consistent hard contact which is associated with better slugging rates.
When he plays (3B), Kevin McGonigle shifts to SS and Javy Baez moves to CF. Colt Keith plays more 1B and DH. Long-term, the Tigers want to protect Keith’s arm which means less 3B is the better option for him.
On the other hand, Spencer Torkelson has hit 5 straight HRs in the last 5 games. During that time, he drove in 6 runs.
Like Lee, Tork also hits RH. Other than Keith and McGonigle, the Tigers’ infield is all RHHs. They are unlikely to put both Tork and Lee in the same lineup. If Tork plays, then Lee sits and either McGonigle or Keith play 3B. Baez is more likely to play SS.
Both Lee and Torkelson hit LHP better than RHP.
Which lineup do you prefer? The one with Lee or the one with Tork? (1B, 2B, 3B, SS order)

Which positional lineup do you prefer? (1B, 2B, 3B, SS order)

1. Tork, Torres, Keith, McGonigle/Baez

2. Keith, Torres, Lee, McGonigle (Baez in CF)
