22 pitches for DeJesus . I get AJ like the righty lefty thing but that was the best DeJesus has looked.
On cue Kyle walks the first batter .

Tigers 6 - Royals 3: The kids are alright, again.
A bullpen day went well, and Matt Vierling and the kids powered the Tigers over the Royals.

Gage Workman plays hero in Tigers debut as Detroit snaps 5-game skid.
It’s been a long and winding road for Gage Workman since the Tigers drafted him in the fourth round in 2020. He was a Rule 5 pick of the Cubs last season, got released and picked up by the White Sox, released again and wound up back at Triple-A Toledo where he scuffled and ended up off the 40-man roster.

Gage Workman home run saves Detroit Tigers from sweep in win vs Royals.
Making his Detroit Tigers debut, Gage Workman stepped to the plate as a pinch-hitter with a runner on first base and one out in the sixth inning.
The 26-year-old pulled a third-pitch, down-and-in slider from right-handed reliever Nick Mears.
The ball landed in the seats in right field.

I wish i was as smart as AJ hinch. Mofo must bend metal with his mind..
Ain't nobody that smart as that guy.

Tigers could use some farm-fresh help, and might have it taking shape at Double-A Erie.
John Peck is acting as if Detroit is in his future, and so is Brett Callahan, while a guy the Tigers once made their second-round pick is finally healthy and hitting for a team that loves to run.
Tigers Intelligence Report w/Lynn Henning

Tarik Skubal’s injury has “noticeably improved” the Tigers chances of keeping him, per @kileymcd ESPN insider. “The chances that Skubal will go back to the Detroit Tigers on a shorter-term deal with opt-outs is much higher than it was before the injury".

TMLR Notes: Gage Workman toe taps into a strong start.

Somehow Kyle Finnegan has a 1.40 ERA despite a 4.78 FIP and a BB% (18.8%) that’s higher than his K% (16.3%). His E-F is the 3rd luckiest in the league right now among those who have at least 10 IP.

Stateside, the Tigers organization have over 62 players currently listed on the injured list. That’s quite a high number. Majors and Minors.

It turns out Scott Harris was right about Tigers' situation with Max Clark.
The Tigers were right to wait.

What Justin Verlander's move to the 60-day IL means for his timeline to return to Tigers.

Gage Workman introduced himself with a bang on Sunday.
The toolsy infielder waited a long time for his shot with the Tigers.

It's time for her to stop blaming the AA for the current issues. Harris has had plenty of time to figure out who can play and who can't. I blame most of the bad infield defense on the musical chair game that AJ plays with his position players. They move around too much. The outfielders are just bad. If they are so concerned with defense, maybe just bring up Clark now. He is supposed to be a great defensive CF and he can't be any worse offensively than the guys they have playing CF now

I blame AA and this guy for not having the balls to pull the trigger on getting better players in FA and in trades. I have also had my fill of this musical chairs in the infield and outfield. If Keith has a weak arm and shoulder, then why does hinch keep playing him at 3rd. I think these players are showing defensive weakness in even their regular position because they are playing all over the place.
