Game #48: Boston 3 Detroit 0 Final

Slow start by Detroit.
Need to find guys who can win faceoffs.

Wings get the first power play. Almost scored on the delayed called.

Wings had some great chances on that power play.

Boston gets next power play on a freaking check.

Damn give away in own end cost us a damn goal. Trail 1-0.
Frustrating goal to give up. 9 left in second. Wings just standing around.

Raymond and Kasper have not gotten a goal in a while. Need them to wake up . Especially Kasper.

We just are not making great passes. Hopefully soon.

16 left.
Probably ballgame. 2-0. We don’t do anything when we are in Bostons zone and we leave our guy and Boston makes the right pass to the open guy. Easy goal.

Picked this off the internet. Wings sort of poor on back to backs. Especially the 2nd game.

The Detroit Red Wings' back-to-back record varies by season, but in the ongoing
2025-26 season, they have a 4-6-2 record overall in back-to-backs, struggling more in the second game with a 1-4-1 record by late December, highlighting a need for improvement in earning points on consecutive nights to stay competitive in the Eastern Conference.

Almost at 8 minute mark of the 3rd. Still no shots on goal for Detroit in this period.. Boston gets a power play.
Wings need a miracle. Boston looks so much faster than Detroit.
Appleton creates a Boston penalty. 4 on 4 for a bit.
Frustrating the few chances we get we just cant bury.
Larkin Hits the post. Sigh.
5:18 left. Goalie will be pulled soon.

so Lazy. Empty netter 3-0.
Pull goalie and on cue Raymond gets out hustled for the puck and Boston player pushes it in.

Embarrassing effort in the 3rd.
Wings out Shot 16-2 in the 3rd period..

The Wings are 1-5-1 on second nights of back to backs this year.
